Gooey, soft chocolate chip cookies with a slightly crispy outside!
Ingredients
1 1/4cupAll-purpose Flour
1/4tspSea Salt
2/3cupGranulated sugar
1/3cupBrown Sugar
1/2cupSoftened Butter
1Large Egg
3/4cupChocolate ChipsI like to use 80%, but lower percentages will do fine as well!
1/2tspVanilla Extract
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 360F.
In a large bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and the sea salt
Mix the brown and white sugar together. Beat the egg and add the vanilla extract, then the sugar
Mix the wet and the dry ingredients together.
Gradually incorporate the softened butter. Continue mixing until the butter is well incorporated in the dough.
Finish by adding the chocolate chips.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 360F for 10-11min. The centers will be slightly undercooked, which is normal. Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack and let them cool down for 1 hour at least before eating them.
