Protein and Blueberry Oats

Who else loves oats ? So versatile, easy and fast to prepare. And most of all, very nutritious 🙂 I am a HUGE bread lover and have that usually for breakfast, usually with eggs or yogurt, but today I wanted to change and went with oats. I directly toppes the mix with blueberries and added boiling water. Then I mivrowaved everything cause I love when frozen blueberries become soft and juicy 💜. I usually have whey protein powder, but I found soya protein at Whole Foods Market yesterday so I wanted to try it and – gotta say – it taste muuuuch more better than whey protein powder. But that’s only my opinion. I don’t know, it has a special taste that’s really cool.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup of rolled oats
  • 100 ml of almond milk
  • 3 tbsp of soya protein powder
  • A handful of blueberries
  • 1/4 banana to top it off

Method

  • Add the oats, protein powder, qnd almond milk to a bowl
  • Top with a hanful of blueberries
  • Boil some water and add about 1.5 cup of boiling water to the mix. Mix well
  • Microwave it all for 1 min (700W) or until the blueberries are juicy 🙂
