2-Ingredients Bagels
This week I am coming with a super easy and fast to make greek yoghurt bagels recipe. Not only they’re high in protein but, since we’re using baking powder, there is no wait for the dough to rise! (I got you, suuuper annoying as I get impatient). The first time I read greek yoghurt and bagels in the same sentence, I was a bit confused. My first reaction was “yeah! greek yoghurt bagels seem healthy” but in the back of my mind, I still somehow had a little doubt about how this could work. Until I decided a few days ago to give it a go. This greek yoghurt bagels recipe is perfect for breakfast as it takes under than 45min to make, from start to end, and it is healthy. You only need two main ingredients, which you most likely already have at home! Believe me, these bagels are a God-sent gift to humanity.
So, which ingredients do I need?
For these bagels you will need:
flour
greek yoghurt
baking powder
sesame seeds (or toppings of choice)
Egg wash (2 egg yolks + 1 tbsl milk)
sea salt
Which toppings can I put?
My favorite topping is peanut butter – even though I’m actually allergic and should stay away from it! Butter and apricot jam does wonder as well.
Can I use something else that sesame seeds ?
Plain bagels would be totally fine, poppy seeds or sunflower seeds are two other ideas that would worl perfectly!
