Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie
Hey peeps! Sorry for having been MIA lately. Had to catch up with lots of work but also got the time to do loads of baking. A few weeks ago I got a skillet for 14$ (initially because I wanted to make shakshuka), and decided it would be amazing to make a giant chocolate chip skillet cookie. A skillet cookie is basically your average cookie, but ten times bigger – I mean come oooon ?! This chocolate chip skillet cookie was a definite success, and I’ll definitely making more of these to impress friends here and there x
Can I only put white sugar only / brown sugar only ?
I have not tried it myself – it would definitely work but for optimal texture (you want a cookie that’s not too crunchy or too soft), it’s best to mix both types of sugar. Brown sugar has more molasses, so it will make your cookies have that “chewy” texture and will soften them.
For this skillet cookie, you will need
flour
egg
butter
brown sugar
white sugar
loooaads of chocolate chips
It’s super easy to make, and will easily impress your friends. You can serve it with some vanilla ice cream if wanted, but, to be honest, even having it on its own is an experience in itself. Hope you try it and elt me know what your think in the comments below!
