    I once said I don’t have a sweet tooth. Which is true. But I also love to experiment in the kitchen, and see what I can come up with. I used some blueberries the other day to make a sorbet, and I was left with half of the bag.     Protein and Blueberry Oats

    Who else loves oats ? So versatile, easy and fast to prepare. And most of all, very nutritious 🙂 I am a HUGE bread lover and have that usually for breakfast, usually with eggs or yogurt, but today I wanted to change and went with oats.     French Beans, Tomatoes, Soy Mince & Carrots Pasta Dish

    Finally found the time to sit down and write this 🙂 (perks of studying engineering I guess!). I found soya mince at my local Tesco the other day and decided to give it a try: no regrets! Was absolutely delicious and although it tastes obviously different that beef or lamb, it is perfect as an alternative to meat based bolognese 🙂 Ingredients  – One can (400g) of chopped tomatoes – 2 medium carrots – 300g of french beans – 200g of mince (I used soy mince, but meat mince is also fine) – 1.5 cups of wholewheat fusili pasta (or any other kind, gluten-free pasta can also be used)  …

    Wholemeal Flour Pancakes (makes 12)

    Pancakes are so versatile. You can eat them with Nutella. Or salty food. Or sweet food. Or on their own, while baking them. Or with maple syrup. And did I mention Nutella ? Here’s my take on them. I didn’t have regular flour at home, so I used the wholemeal version. Accidentally healthy pancakes. Super cool.     Spirulina Green Superbowl

    Ok. So. Had a little trouble finding the perfect name for this dish. All green and natural, I mean come on! And tasty. Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian. All this. It’s the bomb 🙂 I added spirulina at the very end, opening my cupboard and thinking ‘I do need more protein in there’. For you who don’t know, spirulina is very rich in iron and proteins, and it is a vegan friendly option – you can use it in smoothies, yoghurts etc 🙂 The powder is very green though.
