Pumpkin Seeds and Almond Porridge

Porridge is one of my favorite food and breakfast. So easy to make, so fast, so cheal amd so customizable. The thing is to make it creamy (subsitute half of the water for milk) and add a pinch of salt (very important step, as salt enhances the taste and really DOES make a difference). – 1/3 cup oats
– 1/3 cup water
– 1/3 cup milk
– A pinch of salt
– 1 medjool date
– 1 tbsp pumkin seeds
– 8 large almonds
– 1/4 large banana
– 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
– 2 tsp butter

1. In a bowl, add the oats, water, milk and salt. Microwave for about 2 min, stopping and mixing at 1 min.
2. In the meantime, add 2 tsp of butter to a pan and fry the pumkin seeds with the almonds on low heat for about 2-3 min, or until they start to become a little bit brownish
3. Finelly dice the date, then mix it with the nuts and seeds and top the porridge with it. Slice the banana and add it on top. Finish up with some honey or maple syrup
