French Toast with Homemade Strawberry Jam
I absolutely love french toast. My mom used to make it quite regularly when we were kids. I prefer to cook the bread in a greased pan instead of dipping it in oil. Out of laziness surely (🙈) but also because french toast still tastes good if you cook it in a greased pan. In this recipe, you also get to make your own strawberry “jam” which is cool. Hope you like it 🙂
The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yesterday we had a potluck planned with friends, and as a baker I obviously had to go with dessert. I initially planned to make two recipes, brownies and chocolate chip cookies. The brownies ended up very chocolaty and not to sweet, which I really like, as an occasional eater of 99% chocolate (🙈). Of course, you can also add some vanilla extract, milk or maple syrup to taste. Or you could substitute some icing sugar for cocoa powder. Just make sure the cream stays consistent, cause a cream that’s too liquid wouldn’t set very well of course. Also, it’s always a nice idea to put the icing if thr fridge for 30 min before putting it on the cupcakes or cake, so that it sets properly. Chocolate buttercream (8 cupcakes): 3 tbsp cocoa powder // 1/2 cup…
