Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
On the one hand we got peanut butter cookies. Heaven. On the other hand we got chocolate chip cookies. Once again heaven. I always wondered why it rarely occurs to people to mix both. Then I stopped wondering and decided to just go for it and make these biscuits. They’re moist. Sweet but not too much. And you can definitely taste the peanut butter. And the melting chocolate chips.
Mini Strawberry Tarts with a Digestive Base
Anyone is as obssesed with Digestives as I am ? These easy to make mini strawberry tarts, with a Digestive base, might be exactly what you need. Strawberry tart and me is the longest running love story ❤ Among the childhood memories I cherish the most, is my parents buying me a strawberry tart from the bakery next to my school, after a long day. The bakery and the school are now closed, but strawberry tart is something I still like to eat whenever I get the chance. It’s cool that I know also get to twist recipes and modify the base. The best part of the tart is the…
French Toast with Homemade Strawberry Jam
I absolutely love french toast. My mom used to make it quite regularly when we were kids. I prefer to cook the bread in a greased pan instead of dipping it in oil. Out of laziness surely (🙈) but also because french toast still tastes good if you cook it in a greased pan. In this recipe, you also get to make your own strawberry “jam” which is cool. Hope you like it 🙂
The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yesterday we had a potluck planned with friends, and as a baker I obviously had to go with dessert. I initially planned to make two recipes, brownies and chocolate chip cookies. The brownies ended up very chocolaty and not to sweet, which I really like, as an occasional eater of 99% chocolate (🙈). However, I know not everyone is the same and some people find dark chocolate bitter. Decided to stick with chocolate chip cookies, cause they’re easy to make and everyone likes them (…riiight?). These are crunchy cookies you will absolutely love with a glass of milk or just on their own. Tip: for crunchier cookies, bake them for…
Strawberry-Mint Mocktail
Let’s get straight to be point. I love strawberries. I love mint (can’t avoid that, because of my moroccan genes). I love cold drinks during summer. And I love this mocktail. You will love it too I promise.
Banana Oats Chocolate Chip Cookies
I always like a good chocolate chip cookie. I do not have a particular favorite dish or food (yes, I know) because it’s like having to chose your favorite one among your kids (just to let you know, my mama would pick me obviously if she had to chose). However, I always enjoy a nice cookie. A real one. Not an industrial one. All buttery and sweet and soft and crunchy at the same time. Actually, this recipe is probably blasphematory to the real deal, but I did like it. And it involves bananas 👌
Banana Bread Breakfast Muffins
By now you all know my love for bananas and banana bread 🙂 I made this refined-sugar free recipe the other day and it ended up delicious, not too sweet, which is good as I’ve never had too much of a sweet thooth.
Lemon Biscuits
I gotta confess. I baked again on Monday. I had some lemons and been thinking for a while about making something with them. First I thought about a cake or cupcakes but somehow found the idea boring. Also, something you gotta now about me is that my favorite part with making biscuits is using the cookie scoop 🤗. Ingredients 1 cup flour // 1/2 tsp baking powder // 2/3 cup sugar // 1/4 cup softened butter // 2 tsp lemon juice // zest of one medium lemon // 1 medium egg // Instructions Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and softened butter together. You should get a crumpy texture // Add…
Pie Crust
I love making stuff from scratch. Messy hands are the best hands 🤗. Pie crust dough is super easy to make and customizable whether you want it sweet or not. Here we go: Ingredients 2 cups flour // 3/4 cup softened (not liquified) butter (you can use vegan butter or margarine too) // 1/2 cup water // (optional: for a sweet crust, add 3 tbsp of sugar) Instructions In a large bowl, mix the flour and the softened butter. You should get a lumpy, sand-like texture // Gradually add the water while working the dough. You should get a soft and light dough. If too sticky, add some flour as…
Veggie tart
I wanted to recreate this tart where veggies look like flowers for aaaages. Yesterday I finally sat down and decided to make it. For this one I used carrots and courgette/zucchinis cause it’s easy to get thin slices of them. I also made my own crust, cause it is funnier but any store-crust would do fine as well. I hope you’ll like it just like I did 🙂 Ingredients For the homemade crust ——————– 2 cups flour // 3/4 cup softened (not liquified) butter // 1/2 cup water For the filling ——————– 2 eggs // 1/4-1/3 cup milk (depending on the size of the pie) // 2 tbsp double cream…
