    Cinnamon and Raisins Loaf

So the other day, while I was making cinnamon rolls, I ended up with an additional milk + yeast mixture. I contemplated throwing it away for like 10sec, then I decided to make a brioche – but not your average loaf. Whomever invented the  cinnamon + raisins” is a pure genius. Because it works anywhere. In cakes, pancakes, cookies, bagels, and now bread. Well, the brioche kinda turned out into a bread while I was adding the ingredients (intuitive baking at its finest I guess). That’s usually what happens when I aim to make a salad and end up with cookies. Cookies happens, guys. But enough talking, let’s get to…

    Cinnamon Rolls

If using the milk straight from the fridge, warm it up the milk a little bit (not too much so as not to kill the yeast) Mix it with the yeast In a bowl, add the flour, sugar, salt Gradually add the milk+yeast mixture Add the softened butter Add the egg Work the dough until you get a firm and soft ball. Cover and place in a warm area (such as the oven with the lights turned on) for one hour, (tip: you can place it inside a blanket to help it rise faster) After one hour, spread the dough to make a rectangular shape about 5-7 mm thick Spread…

    Vegan Banana Bread

By now, can you tell what’s my favorite fruit ? The best thing that can happen to me is to find a perfectly ripped banana. I often make banana bread and twist my recipe, but this time I wanted to try and make an entirely vegan version. And gosh, you won’t even realize this hasn’t got any butter, eggs, or milk. Actually, I completely messed up my first attempt. Didn’t put enough flour and the cake ended up just too oily. Anyways, enough talking, let’s get to serious things 😎

    Lemon Tart

Lemon tart is both my mom’s and my aunt’s favorite. Actually, whenever my mom makes it, my aunt just has to drop by and take half of it. No lie. My mom’s version is a bit more acid as she puts less sugar. This was my first attempt ever at making a lemon tart, and I gotta say I am quite happy with how it turned out. The filling is sweet and quite creamy as well. Hope you try it 🙂

    Naans (with Baking Powder)

I absolutely love indian food, and especially naans. Naans are flat breads which are baked on a pan, and due to the oil and/or butter they’re soft. What I like is there’s no oven needed, so it’s less trouble. People are usually afraid to make the dough – they shouldn’t ! The secret is to put a generous amount of flour and gradually  add the milk while mixing. Working the dough toroughly also helps make it softer. Trust me, naans are worth the mess.

    White Chocolate Chip Cookies

You guys know how much I looooove making cookies. So the other day, I got bored and decided to use the white chocolate chips I had to make these. These biscuits are buttery, soft, amazing, and the white chocolate melts in your mouth when you eat them. Seriously, you all should just make them ✌

    Pumpkin Latte

Fall is my second favorite season. I love not only seeing orange and brown everywhere, but also how it becomes acceptable to spend evenings at home with a hot drink (to be fair, I’m a granny at heart so I’m at home with a hot drink, a good book and some comfy PJs pretty much every day of the year). Also, I love seeing pumking everything, everywhere.  I’m both a coffee and a tea lover, but sometimes it’s good to twist things a bit (I do that a lot, right ?). Hope you like this drink, was definitely good and I can’t wait to make it again x
