App: Lifesum
Hey there 😊 First of all, this post is not sponsored and I’m only sharing my genuine opinion. I recently discovered a free application, Lifesum, which is just amazing. It will let you log your food, water, drinks and exercice everyday. You can also connect it to Google Fit or FitBit (among others) so that it automatically synchronizes your daily activity. One of my favorite thing is that it can scan the barcode of your products (including Canadians ones! I haven’t tried with other countries yet) to ease up logging your food. If you wanna download it, it’s available both on Google Play and on the Apple Store 😎
Apple Oatmeal Cookies
Ah, cookies! I love to make them. And eat them even more. I also like apples so mich (can you believe I used to find them just about average up until like 6 years ago ? Yeah me neither – used to be a huge #teambanana person). These cookies are just about the right amount of sweet, and I just used 4 tbsp of light margarine (you can use butter) for the whole batch. Hope you like them 🙂 Tip: to keep the cookies softer for longer, you can place them in a sealed container with a slice of bread 😊
Classic Brioche
Guuuys. I don’t know how I haven’t baked brioche before. This classic brioche with a crusty top is all you need in your life. It’s soft, moist, sweet, crusty, everything. Usual brioche is extremely soft and kinda “airy” as it has more eggs and milk, but I like it when it is a little bit more dense, so I put less of them. [recipe-title=”Classic Brioche” servings=”12-14″ difficulty=”medium” time=”2:30-3hr” description=”Classic brioche with a crusty top, perfect for breakfast with some jam and butter”] [recipe-direction] In a large bowl, mix the flour with the salt and sugar Add the yeast to the milk and set aside for 7-10min Add the yeast mixture,…
Healthy Breakfast Banana Blueberries Muffins
Ok so guys. The situation is as follows, a few weeks ago I brought a second pack of frozen blueberries and just felt like I HAD to use them while making all sorts of cakes. What I love about these banana blueberries muffins is that they can be an awesome snack or breakfast on-the-go, with some eggs or peanut butter. Hope you like them 🙂 – 1 + 1/2 medium banana – 1/2 cup oat flour – 1/2 + 1/4 cup all purpose flour – 3/4 tsp baking powder – 2 tbsp coconut sugar – 1 tbsp maple syrup – Pinch of salt – 3/4 cup blueberries – 1 egg…
Starbucks Like Pumpkin Scones
What I absolutely love about fall – apart from the pretty orange leaves everywhere – is how we get pumpkin everything, from lattes to cakes 💕 Scones are the one thing I’ve never tried making, so I decided to join the fun and make scones – with pumpkin of course! Hope you like the recipe 🙂
Blueberries Victoria Cake
Wanted to make a Victoria Sponge but had no strawberries, so it’s a Blueberries Sponge 😉 Also, after I made this cake I learnt that my flatmate apparently hates blueberries (or any fruit in cakes!!) (and billions of other food!) and it’s getting harder and harder to make anything that fits her taste. Anyways, this cake was definitely delicious and I love how blueberries and their juice mix with the cake to give something super moist, colorful and yummy 🙂 Hope you like it! e cake with some icing sugar [/recipe-directions]
Apple Cinnamon Cake
So yesterday, as I was doing groceries with my flatmate, I saw some walnuts and I immediately thought of making an apple cake with walnuts. I love how they bring a crunchy side to cakes 😊
Healthier American-Style Blueberries Pancakes
I love saturdays (and week-ends in general) cause I have enough time to wake up and make myself more elaborated breakfasts. One thing I absolutely (and I think everyone) love is pancakes with syrup. I made these american style pancakes today, and I’m sure you’ll like them 🙂 They’re best served with some greek yoghurt and berries.
7 Healthy Snacks Ideas
Who doesn’t love snacking ? Definitely not me! I snack all the time. In our busy lives, it’s easy to buy some chips or sweet “energy” bars (which are definitely more like treats!) at the serving machine but these don’t live you satiated and they’re full of nasty stuff. Not what you body needs. Here are 7 easy on-the-go snacks you can make at home and take with you 🙂 Rice cakes with cottage or cheese and tuna Some low-fat cheese, tortilla chips and grapes Toast with peanut butter and strawberries Toast with mashed avocado and boiled egg Protein chocolate-peanut butter smoothie Rice cakes with avocado and salmon Tortilla wrap…
